Legacy Xelagot 4.0xx beta mailing list
Hi folks,
Since a few weeks (December 2006), I have an email list of beta testers for X1 xelagot 4.0xx. Since it has all updated features of the 3.6 xelagot but no 4.1 object handling, it can not be fully used in 4.1, i.e. you can use it if you do not attempt to handle 4.1 objects, as all objects are considered to be legacy 3.x objects (that's why it is called version 4.0xx!). All other functions have been updated to AW SDK 65 (including avatars, terrain, world attributes). If you want to join the beta team, send me an email to xelag@3dee.nl from an address that accepts zips containing executables. Do not send from the following domains that refuse attachments: gmail.com alterlinks.com dsweb.org These (among others) are OK: hotmail.com yahoo.com msn.com aol.com "From an address" means just that: your request has to come from the address where you expect me to send Xelagot and news. This is to avoid making mistakes (there were a few already) and both of us wasting time. I still have to re-write the code for objects, starting with the slow handling of the object database, and this will take a while to do, since I'm not at 100% energy level. My birthday is actually next Monday 15th, although officially my docs say 22nd: go figure what my parents were doing in the meantime
So I decided to have the party on a Friday, suits everyone better (pubs are open until 3 am instead of 1 am!).
