MIP is kinda a 2 edged sword, it works great on some things, and less than great on others, especially if there is fine detail or lines in the image.

Tip: Mip looks great on everything if you enable anisotropic filtering on your video card settings. It deals with that blurring problem.

Mip Bot would be useful for newer roads that replaced older roads in the City of Rockford. Right now, most of new roads built before this date has been built without mip. So I'm not going to bother fixing them unless I can somehow do that en masse (read: via bot).
So I third that as well.
