Image Blending Script

I was originally working on a larger project for providing simple image editing using a web front-end (Original specification available at http://files.theenginerd.com/documen...ge-service.txt for anyone interested in making such a service).

However, I never managed to finish this project. So I'm posting the PHP script I wrote to blend together two texture images:
