I still have my speech presentation on paper that I gave at the meeting, I will transcribe it here:
"Hi Rick, my name is Kenneth, as you know. I have used Active Worlds almost daily since 2000 and I've owned a world almost since then too. I remember having a hard time figuring out what I need to have for my own world. For example, needing a world server, object path - and which ones available plus the option to create my own object path. Then was the problem with not knowing anything about World Rights and Features. So my proposal today Rick, is for a revamp of the AW website with clear and easy descriptions of what is needed to make a world including a step-by-step process of selecting a server, a name, an object path, rights, and some of the features. This way the general public might see this and therefore give the company more business and the Universe more people. Also please include some words indicating a world server can be hosted by other participating companies and also your own computer when the computer is turned on. Thank you." |
